Grant Summary
$250,000 over 24 months to launch and scale up (1) Introduction to the Liberal Arts (LBL 195), a required student success course anchored in core texts for its incoming liberal arts students; and (2) the “Enduring Questions” (EQ) pathway, where students can complete at least 12 credits of general education coursework that draws on core texts. By the end of the grant period, OCC will offer at least 50 sections of LBL 195 a year, enrolling at least 750 students annually, and run 15-20 EQ sections of general education courses per semester, enrolling 1,500 students annually.
