Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to create a summer seminar featuring transformative texts that explore questions about freedom and responsibility and will focus on civil rights history in Georgia. The program will help the University demonstrate the value and relevance of the humanities to first-generation college-bound students living in Atlanta.
