Grant Summary
$300,000 over 42 months to Portland State University to give promising underserved high school seniors from Portland an opportunity to participate in a two-week humanities seminar and a school-year civic engagement program. Inquiry for Justice follows the essential components of Knowledge for Freedom programs, including a rigorous academic seminar, college application support, and an opportunity to return to campus during the year to complete a public service project. PSU also brings unique assets to the Knowledge for Freedom model by placing it within the University’s dual credit program.
