Grant Summary
$280,000 over 30 months for the collaborating institutions to reduce course proliferation and revise current offerings to ensure greater intellectual coherence within general studies and upper-division coursework for the major. The partners intend to use the process of curricular revision as an opportunity to better integrate established high-impact practices for student learning (such as undergraduate research, writing-intensive courses, and capstone experiences), and to position students so they acquire the knowledge, skills, dispositions, and methods that will enable them to make the most of such high-impact opportunities.
