Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to create three tiered options for “Analytic and Expressive Communication”—an “immersion” (a three-course sequence required of all students as part of general education); a minor (with 15 credits); and a certificate (with 18 credits). A common intellectual experience anchored in core texts will be embedded in a civic engagement or public speaking course, which will be required for all students to be eligible for the immersion, minor, or certificate.
