Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to lay the groundwork for the Keystone certificate, a 12-15-credit program involving two gateway courses and 2-3 electives, all of which meet general education distribution requirements, and with the goal of making the certificate available at all campuses in the Pennsylvania State University system Students will begin the certificate with a two-course sequence in the first year, with all sections drawing from a common list of texts. The rest of the coursework for the certificate will be organized in thematic clusters. During the planning phase, one section each of the two gateway courses will be piloted at PSU-Berks.
