Grant Summary

$250,000 over 24 months to target University Seminar, College Seminar, and Integration Course as part of developing two “tracks”—in health, humanities and society, and in science, technology, and values—for meeting general education requirements, while also ensuring commonality of experience across participating sections of the university seminar aimed at incoming students. The general education tracks will subsequently position students to complete certificates and minors in the humanities. The project aims to offer annually at least 20 sections of the first-year University Seminar to 300 students, eight sections of the second-year College Seminar to 100 students, and five sections of the upper-level Integration Course to 200 students by end of grant period.
