Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to create a common intellectual experience in the first-year English composition sequence and thematically organized pathways through general education (e.g., “Medical Humanities, Ethics, and Literature” that lead to a certificate. Faculty will explore ways to deepen an existing partnership between the departments of English and Theatre to mount productions of works chosen from the reading list used to create a common intellectual experience for incoming students.
