Grant Summary
$25,000 over 5 months to Columbia University to organize a select group of research universities with a shared commitment to core curricula at the undergraduate level to come together to examine: the roots of their commitments; the institutional environment that sustains those commitments; and the possibilities for strengthening these core programs. This planning grant will support the formulation of a multi-year program of collaboration and dissemination of findings among five- to six institutions.
