Grant Summary
$50,000 over 12 months to continue to support Educator Access, a program designed to connect K-12 and community college teachers to vital continuing education programming at Brooklyn Institute for Social Research (BISR). BISR provides accessible yet rigorous opportunities for working adults to study the liberal arts in structured settings. Through this second and final round of support, BISR will continue to work to secure certification for teacher continuing education and professional development through New York State and the New York City Department of Education’s After School Professional Development Program.
