Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to Nova Southeastern University to complete a rigorous 12-month planning process with the assistance of the Teagle team to implement a Knowledge for Freedom program in the summer of 2023 or 2024. The program will be housed in NSU’s Farquhar Honors College and will reach high school juniors attending schools in underserved communities in Broward Country, Florida. Faculty will design a three-week seminar entitled One Person Can Change the World, which will center on questions of individuality and democracy through transformative texts.
