Grant Summary

$200,000 over 24 months to implement its Herd Humanities Program, anchored by a two-course gateway sequence centered on transformative texts: “identity and community” (SCLA 101: Transformative Texts) and “reality & perception” (SCLA 102: Transformative Texts). Students will also have the opportunity to fulfill additional general education requirements while working toward a 16-credit hour Advanced Critical Thinking certificate in one of several themed tracks, including Science & Technology, Environment & Sustainability, Healthcare & Medicine, Management & Organization, and Conflict Resolution & Justice.
