Grant Summary
$175,000 over 24 months to implement its three “Conversations” gateway courses: (1) Conversations: the American Experience, (2) Conversations: Building the Modern World, and (3) Conversations: Imagining Lives through World Literature, all grounded in common transformative texts. The gateway course series will reach the entire incoming student body. Students may also pursue Lyon’s newly approved Medical Humanities minor as a pathway to continue their humanistic study.
