Grant Summary
$50,000 over 19 months to Fresh Air Fund to work with 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students on preparation, identification, and application to colleges and universities through its College Connections Program (CCP). Specific program activities include: mentoring by volunteers, training for financial literacy and planning, attending college fairs and tours, offering SAT preparation courses, and assisting with college identification and applications. Additionally, CCP will follow its students entering college through each academic year, providing direct guidance from volunteer mentors who report to Fresh Air Fund staff.
