Grant Summary
$12,500 over 6 months to PEN America to support a planning process on how to engage faculty in addressing free speech issues in the undergraduate curriculum, to identify educational materials that might need development as part of this project, including videos and primers on the First Amendment, and to investigate possible models for making this work sustainable beyond the duration of an implementation grant, for example by developing an institute model (common in the higher education sector) or a regional workshop model.
