The Directors and staff of the Teagle Foundation mourn the death of Stephen H. Weiss on April 16, 2008. Mr. Weiss was named by Cornell University as its representative on the Board of the Teagle Foundation in November of 1998. During his years of service on the Foundation's Board, he chaired its governance committee and investment committee, and was elected Vice Chair of the Board. His incisive judgment, generous spirit and deep commitment to higher education will be remembered by all who knew him.
