Grant Summary
$230,000 over 36 months to Hilbert College, St. Bonaventure University, Erie Community College, and Jamestown Community College to rework their general education curricula to reflect a common set of learning outcomes and create a more coherent experience for all students, including those who transfer among the partner institutions. All four institutions will also map their learning objectives back to the K-12 Common Core Learning Standards implemented in New York in 2010 to help students better understand the connections between their past and future learning as well as reduce the number of non-credit bearing developmental courses that students need to take.
