Kevin W. Murphy is Vice President, Issues and Advocacy, Low Carbon Solutions at Exxon Mobil Corporation. His previous positions included President of the ExxonMobil Foundation and Global Manager of Community Investments & Strategy at Exxon Mobil Corporation; Manager of Global Policy Issues; Public & Government Affairs Manager of ExxonMobil Natural Gas & Power Marketing Company; and Manager of U.S. State Government Relations. Prior to joining the company in 2004, he held several positions in Washington, D.C., including his final position as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy & Environmental Technologies in the International Trade Administration.

He holds B.A. and J.D. degrees from Indiana University. He was a Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund in 2008 and served on the board of directors and executive committee of the World Affairs Council of Dallas – Fort Worth from 2008-2011 and again from 2016-2021. Kevin currently serves on the board of directors of the Teagle Foundation and the National Forest Foundation.
